Making a Difference, One Family at a Time
During 2025, Dove Fund helped more than 100 individuals, both new and repeat clients, spending $40,000 on direct aid to make payments and offer personal assistance to our needy neighbors. For instance, Dove Fund volunteers have driven clients to medical appointments; helped them source clothing and food; taken them to get an eye exam and new glasses. Sometimes we help clients find affordable housing. We do what it takes, with God’s help. Because we are small and limit ourselves to 3-5 client families at a time, we can give them individual attention.

Helping Families Stay Housed
Volunteers moved a low-income family of six whose mom is in a wheelchair. Dove Fund connected them to an affordable apartment in West Ashley. After two years of bouncing from relatives’ couches and seedy rooms to rent, at long last they have a home of their own again.
A Place to Call Home
There’s nothing like having your own place after having lived for months in a car to make a person feel in control of her life. Another frequent scenario: many of our clients receive rental assistance to keep them from being evicted, along with financial counseling and prayer to help move forward on a better path. Thank you, Jesus, for so many miracles of love and for open doors.

“I thank God for the Dove Fund. Your organization is full of angels.”
